Recollections.

Life is busy. Make time to recollect yourself once a month.

Like a
Mini Retreat.

A recollection is a “mini-retreat,” a few hours of quiet prayer when we look at our lives in God’s presence.

A monthly recollection is a chance to step back from the whirlwind of daily tasks for a few hours of quiet prayer spent looking at God, the world, and ourselves. It is not always easy to find time to pray, but it is always worthwhile.

Our Recollections typically last around two hours, consisting of a meditation preached by the priest, an extended examination of conscience, Eucharistic adoration, and Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament, and a brief talk about personal growth given by a layman.

During the Recollections the priest is available for the sacrament of Confession.
